Harold Zuckerman arrived on Wednesday morning as usual, for the weekly session of The Clever Conversation at The Clever Office. He was pleasantly surprised when he found out what was in store for him.

In honour of Harold’s 90^th birthday Rhea Burns and Stefanie McManus, the owners of The Clever Office, asked Harold to facilitate the January 20^th Clever Conversation by providing nine of the most important lessons he’s learned in the nine decades of his life (9 lessons/9 decades) that he could pass along to us entrepreneurs.

What Harold didn’t know was that, while he was telling his story, Mayor Sandra Cooper was behind closed doors in one of the offices. She was on her cell phone doing a live “Talk of the Town with John & Mel” radio segment with The Peak 95.1 FM. Towards the end of the show Mayor Cooper walked into The Clever Conversation to wish Harold a Happy Birthday on live radio. Harold was thrilled, speechless and surprised.

Clever Conversations are held every Wednesday and are a great way for entrepreneurs, small business owners, work-at-home professionals, community groups and leaders to sit and chat.

Although Harold is retired he joins us every Wednesday morning and brings a vast amount of knowledge, experience and opinions to share with us. Harold received the order of Collingwood in 2013 and donates much of his time at the YMCA teaching Chair Yoga to the elderly. Everyone loves Harold as he is kind, giving and an inspiration to all of us; we all hope to be like him at 90!
