Sunday January 20, 2019 is World Snow Day. Scenic Caves Nordic Centre is participating in helping to make this the biggest day on snow, all year with a special offer: Free Youth day trail pass and equipment rental with purchase of one adult day trail pass. It's an international annual snow festival promoting the recreational activities snow offers to all ages. Open 9am 5pm (last ticket sold at 3:30pm). Equipment rentals: first-come, first-served. No headlamps or additional gear are required to hike the trail of caves/ caverns/ crevasses. It is not a deep underground trek. Rather, it is a hike through chambers of crevasses with sculptured cliffs and tight passageways. Hiking/running shoes with good treads are required.
