Rosemary Breschuk-Chiu — virtually blind with no answers

It has been my experience, when visiting Health Harmonies in Newmarket, that most word-of-mouth clients arrive there out of sheer frustration with traditional medicine, prescriptions, therapies and treatments.

I am such a client, a regular now, practically a fixture, because I was severely let down by a provincial healthcare system that had not enough qualified doctors and specialists, was too slow, too busy, too expensive, too burdened by cutbacks and lack of resources, beds and nurses and essentially too indifferent to my health crisis, to be of any help at all, to my peril. Some weeks, the exorbitant cost of parking at the hospital alone meant no money for groceries that week.

I was a professional food and product demonstrator. On March 30, on a rare day off work, I woke up virtually blind; no vision in my swollen left eye, and about 10% in the right. I was rushed to the local hospital, where I spent 7.5 franatic hours undergoing test after test, rushed from room to room with little explanation as to where I was going, or why, and all I could think of was…..would I ever see my new grandson’s face ever again?

By nightfall, the hospital staff were at a complete loss as to the cause of my sudden blindness, so they sent me the next day to a speciality eye clinic at the other end of the region. There, I spent another full day undergoing numerous tests, with a disappointing outcome — the doctors also didn’t know why I couldn’t see, and sent me home suggesting I call the CNIB for assistance. The CNIB said I didn’t qualify under their criteria. So there I was, sent home alone with my 2 dogs, unable to drive, shop, do banking, cook meals, do laundry and most other routine chores we take for granted.

Once home, I called an Ojibway medicine man friend, whose “spirits” told him the cause of my blindness was due to a lack of iodine and related thyroid issues. He suggested it was most likely Thyroid Eye Disease (TED). I told my eye doctor about this, and he merely laughed and quipped “Indian medicine? Good luck with THAT!” The medicine man had a tincture sent to me that I took, 8 drops twice daily. Within 3 days, the vision in my right eye slowly started to return, and minimally so in the left. A friend took me to see a homeopath who prescribed potassium and Causticum tabs, which also helped somewhat. Five weeks later, the ophthalmologist grudgingly agreed that the medicine man was right!

But it wasn’t until I took the advice of a friend to go to Health Harmonies that I saw REAL and TANGIBLE results and healing. After my free session, which gave me great relief from the pressure building behind my eyes, I signed up for the most reasonably-priced 10-session package, and began attending 6 days a week, as I had also now lost my job.

I took advantage of all three main therapies — PEMF, infra-red bed, acoustic/harmonic bed — plus other detox apparatus, the Tesla-coil, probe, and pillows to target my eye issues. I also learned how to reduce the effect of microwave, “dirty electricity”, WiFi and other “invisible pollutants” in my home, and I keep my cell phone on “airplane mode” now most of the time. I improved my already organic food/healthy lifestyle diet, and included more hydration with oxygenated, ozonized, alkalized, purified water, which is essential for the therapies to work optimally.

Within 3 weeks, I saw incremental, progressive improvement in my vision in both eyes. The “tinted glass” film over my left eye disappeared within 4 days. Though my eye remains fixed, moving only horizontally because the extra ocular and rectus muscles have still not yet released, my vision increased from 10% to 30%. My near- and far-sightedness was corrected within a week, and I no longer wear my costly double-bifocal glasses. My right eye improved from 10% acuity to nearly 70% now, and getting better every day. The filmy veil has lifted, my eye looks near normal, and as a result, I am able to drive again, if only for short distances and periods of time. I regained my mobility, not to mention confidence and optimism for a full recovery. Meanwhile, nine weeks later, I’m still waiting for my ophthalmologist to schedule a folllow-up consultation appointment.

I’ve started a second course of 10 sessions, and now I’m volunteering and training at the clinic where I’m being treated, with a new dream for a vocation as a PEMF clinician, with the hope of bringing this alternative, Tesla-coil based healing therapy to First Nations reservations and communities across Ontario, and one day, Canada, owing to the vast array of pain, illness, addictions, mental illness and other pathologies it can target, and heal.

John Mahaffy — post-shingles neuralgia searing pain GONE!

Recently, I was lying in bed writhing in pain when my wife returned from Yoga and told me that her Yoga instructor had said that two of her clients had been going to a place in Newmarket called Health Harmonies for “Pulsed Electro Magnetic Field” therapy (PEMF) and were quite pleased with the results they were getting for various physiological problems.

EK’s Story of PEMF and Sleep Apnea!

Sleep Apnea is a condition where one’s breathing stops and begins again during sleep. There are different types of sleep apnea ranging from excessive muscle relaxation (causing airway obstruction) to when one’s brain does not send proper signals to the muscles that control breathing and a combination of the two. Ultimately, a sleep apnea patient has a reduced level of oxygen circulating in their blood during sleep.

Symptoms: loud snoring, abrupt awakening accompanied by shortness of breath, waking with a dry mouth or sore throat, headache, insomnia, excessive daytime sleepiness, difficulty focusing and irritability.

Treatment: a continuous positive airway pressure (CPAP) machine is the leading therapy for sleep apnea where a patient wears a face or nasal mask during sleep. The mask is connected to a pump, providing positive airflow into the nasal packages in order to keep the airway open. This therapy is a long term therapy that can be accompanied by some mild side effects.

EK is a 73 year old female who was diagnosed with severe sleep apnea in 1997. Her AHI has been measured at 42 or higher over all of those years. This would be considered severe sleep apnea. EK used a CPAP machine for 19 years which had not improved her sleep apnea over the course of time. EK started using a Pulsed Electromagnetic Field (PEMF) device in July, 2016. Over the course of the summer, EK was able to use her CPAP machine less and less. By September, EK stopped using the CPAP machine under the supervision of her primary healthcare provider. Her body had dramatically changed over the course of her PEMF treatments . After a couple of months of being off the CPAP machine and continuing with PEMF treatments, EK consulted with her sleep specialist who ran another sleep study to measure her AHI level. As of the end of November, 2016 EK’s AHI score is 4. She is no longer suffering from sleep apnea!

PEMF and Neuralgia!

Neuralgia is severe pain that comes from a damaged nerve.   The pain associated with neuralgia can be quite severe and may include burning, stabbing or shooting sensations. The damaged nerve may be located anywhere in the body but most commonly in the face and neck.  What happens to the nerve?  The body’s nerves are protected by a coating called: myelin sheath.  When the myelin sheath is damaged, the nerve becomes exposed and pain sets in.  The causes of nerve damage (neuralgia) may include and are not limited to: disease (diabetes, multiple sclerosis), shingles, infection or older age.

The story of a young girl’s third head injury…

Date of last head injury: June 2016

A very healthy 15year old 6’2 165lb Junior Elite basketball player, scouted for last 4 years for division 1 US basketball scholarship.

This was the girl’s 3rd head injury, first as a 4yr old fell from top of 8th stair in the basement and fell onto a ceramic tiled floor. There were no long term symptoms.

2nd head injury at 12 years of age, at night, misjudged corner of wall and hit head, went to bed and next morning had a bump and bruise on forehead and said had the “worst headache ever”, eye pain and tired. The Doctor ordered a concussion protocol and the girl felt better in a week.

3rd head injury June 2016, during end of season Championship basketball game, opponent elbows girl in left temple. Girls remained standing, grasped her forehead, put her head down for a moment then proceeded to slowly try to make her way to other side of court, by half court she was squinting her eyes and holding her head and signalling to coach she needed to sit down. She was immediately assessed by Physiotherapist and Kinesiologist. She was told she couldn’t play anymore and to go home and rest and watch for worsening symptoms.

Girl immediately presented with a headache in the forehead and sharp eye pain, which remained for 7 days until her first PEMF treatment. She remained home from school, no technology use, in a dark room, lots of hydration and clean nutritious diet, sleep, rest and quiet.

Her pain remained a 7 or 8 out of 10 for 7 days until PEMF treatment. On 7th day we were seen and evaluated by lead Dr at Toronto Western Hospital at Concussion Centre, he said she failed the “drunk mans walk test” where you try to walk a straight line lifting and placing one foot in front of the other. She was hit on left temple, when lifted left leg it wasn’t a quick motion it swayed for a moment in the air and she seemed slow to touch heel of left foot to right toe.

Second test she failed in assessment, she had to stand, close eyes, lift and bend each knee one at a time with arms out to side keeping her balance. On attempt to lift left knee she was slow, wobbled and couldn’t keep balance.

Dr said she is not to have any more head injuries, next one could have worse symptoms, instructions for no activity that would shake her head no jumping for 1 month and to come in for a followup apt.

Concussion protocol is to be continued.

I was referred to Kim and Jackie and PEMF therapy by a family friend. Girl fell asleep and remained asleep during her treatment.

After her first treatment she sat up, I asked her how she felt, she blinked her eyes, stretched her jaw as to check the tension in her head, bent her neck from side to side front to back and simply said “my pain is gone”. I said what do you mean? I asked her to be specific and use other words and to describe how she felt after her treatment. She said “I feel like someone washed out the inside of my head and behind my eyes, it is a empty feeling with no pressure and the pain is gone, it feels empty, light and clear”.

Kim and Jackie said there were no side effects and to stay hydrated.

Girl slept for the 1 hour car ride home and remained pain free permanently no return of any symptoms.

We returned the following day for a second treatment to continue benefits of the session.

Girl was able to jump, run, pain free immediately after her second session.

We were aware the brain needed to recover and to keep her safe she refrained from any physical activity for a month. She returned to her game going full speed 1 month as per Drs orders to allow brain to heal.

PEMF to the rescue…again!

Abscess GONE!

An abscessed tooth is an infection within a tooth that has spread to the root The infection originates from the tooth’s inner chamber (the pulp chamber) that contains blood vessels, nerves and connective tissue. Bacteria enter through a dental cavity, a cracked tooth or through extended deantl work The bacteria build up in the pulp and create pus. The infection will drain but often times can lead to further infection.

GB is an active 8 year old. She is having dental work done for the overcrowding “issue” in her mouth. As her mouth widens, little pockets of space are created to accommodate all of her incoming adult teeth. These spaces take time to heal and create new bone growth.

GB was vacationing at a cottage on a lake in early July. Her daily activities included swimming! A few days after the vacation, she developed a large abscess that was very painful and full of pus. A visit with the dentist prompted a prescription for antibiotics. She has developed an infection from bacteria found in the lake! Her mother wanted to wait a few days and see if her body would fight the infection on its own. On the subsequent dental follow up, she not only had the abscess on her tooth, she had also developed swelling on the other side of her face (on the gums)…was the infection spreading? It seemed so.

Antibiotics were now the course of treatment. 3 days later and another visit with the dentist, the abscess had gotten worse! The dentist said that the antibiotics were not working (the infection should have cleared by that point).

Helen L’s Post Surgical Recovery Success

Helen is a graceful woman in her 70s. She was admitted into hospital in July, 2016 with pain in her hip (she had had a hip replacement 7 years prior). It was determined that Helen L had an E. coli infection. After 3 major surgeries and four months in hospital, she returned home.

Testimonials Concerning the Seqex FAM Device

I am a 76 years old female and have used the device almost daily since late November 2017.

I was suffering from boils and a bad flu with a fever on the day that I received the device. After 2 days of using the device, my flu cleared up and went away without progressing into pneumonia. I did not need use antibiotics as I had always in the past.

The boils also cleared up in a few days.

I have back problems after suffering several falls in the last few years. I was diagnosed with a herniated disc and some minor fractures. My feet suffered from peripheral neuropathy and were numb. Using the device and its numerous programs, my back pain went away, and I can get around without crutches or a walker. The numbness in my feet is now less at bedtime.

Mary McDonald – “NO PAINS!!!”

Thank you Health Harmonies Collingwood for being there.  After breaking my ankle last year I was unable to participate in the Niagara Falls Women’s Half marathon.  My recovery was very slow and I was not comfortable going downstairs as I did not have the full motion and my ankles seemed to lock up.  Physiotherapy or acupuncture was not working for me and then I had seen Harmonies ad in the ON THE BAY magazine and thought I had nothing to loss to try it.  They were very knowledgeable about their beds and I really like the idea of working at the body’s cellular bases.  It wasn’t long before my ankles (both of them as I had broken and other one a couple years earlier) felt great and I don’t even think about them being broken.   I have continued using the PEMF devices for muscles and tendons as I was starting to run again and was going to run the Niagara Falls race June 4th this year.  I hoped it would help make me stronger so I didn’t keep injuring myself i.e.my  IT band or my thighs or my hamstring or my hips and boy has it help!  No physio or chiro for me this round of training!

Complex eye disorder:

I have a complex eye disorder that has been progressively worsening, plaguing me over the past four years.  It began with a diagnosis of glaucoma the first year, then uveitis glaucoma the second year, then severe dry eye, then multifocal chorioretinitis, then treated for a herpetic virus (although there was some dissent on that diagnosis) and finally with Limbal Stem Cell Deficiency.  My corneas were scarred from different procedures and unable to heal as the Limbal Stem Cells were not regenerating, I was told.  I was legally blind, unable to drive or do any of the tasks that I once did with ease.  I had two Infocus Microshunt surgeries, two cataract surgeries, a needling procedure after one of the shunts was blocked, an air fill, and too many other procedures to count.  I attended over 250 medical appointments and been seen by 11 different Dr.'s, some world renowned.  Complicating matters, I also have been suffering with Cluster headaches for over two years and the pain associated with these in addition to the chronic pain from the Limbal Stem Cell Deficiency has made life unbearable at times.

I was scheduled for a Limbal Stem Cell Transplant, requiring family members to go through the donor process.  We had moved slowly throughout a six month process, looking forward to the surgery being scheduled.

A close friend of ours had been to Italy and purchased the Seqex machine and offered me the opportunity to use it.  I had started using getting treatments on ........ and was fortunate to be able to use it for two hours a day, doing so for several weeks before I went on a vacation for a month.  Upon my return, I have had treatments, usually a couple of times a week, typically for over an hour each time.  I have felt better, people have noticed an improvement in my colour and more recently, my vision began to improve.

I have had an IMRS machine at home as well and was also using the probe to help with pain management and healing as I also had some bone grafting done, necessary for future dental implants.

I saw the Ocular Disease Surgeon on August 2nd 2018 whom advised I no longer required the Limbal Stem Cell Transplant as my Limbal Stem Cells were regenerating.  She was now willing to look at doing a corneal implant on the eye that they had previously said they weren't really looking at as they wanted to 'work with the eye with the most restorative function'.

The only reason I had even seen this Disease specialist who had recommended the transplant was because I pushed for a second opinion as the specialists prior to that had told me that my eyes were 'too sick to hold a transplant'.  Now my eyes were not only well enough to not need a stem cell transplant but were well enough to hold a corneal transplant.  The surgeon advised that this was 'atypical'.  I call it nothing short of miraculous.  I also do not think it would have occurred without the Seqex treatments.

Since using the Seqex mat in 2016, I have overcome a series of medical conditions and symptoms. I was challenged by a condition called Electromagnetic Hyper-Sensitivity (or EHS), a type of allergic response to electromagnetic fields (EMF's). My nervous system was greatly affected. I was tense, highly emotional, always tired and had suffered from severe chronic pain in my legs for over 10 years. I had also been on medication for Hashimoto's thyroiditis for 32 years and had been diagnosed with the Epstein Bahr virus. I was diagnosed with Stage Four Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma last year.

I went into remission from the cancer in under 3 months. I was using the Seqex machine twice a day with special custom cards made for my condition, plus some alternative treatments and had done 3 rounds of chemotherapy. Both my Naturopath and Oncologist thought it was miraculous that I was in remission so quickly (I had only done 3 out of 6 chemo treatments and 6 weeks of alternative, high dose vitamin C IV's, where the protocol is to do them for close to a year).

My EHS is much better and my whole nervous system has calmed down considerably. I am now able to go into public places and be around people with cell phones during the day but still need to live in a more rural setting and sleep in my calm, home environment free of EMF's at night. I have benefitted in many ways from using my sequex mat over the past few years. At one point arthritis was increasing in my

lower back and legs to the degree that I was finding it difficult to get in and out of a car. After a period of using my mat daily for less than 3 months I felt so much of the arthritis was gone that I was easily hopping in and out of any vehicle.

Last December I was rushing up our winding staircase from the ground level, carrying several items in my arms. I remembered something I had forgotten after only going up 5 or 6 stairs. I immediatley started to reverse my steps now going backwards but still hurrying. I lost my balance and my grip on the stair railing and went flying down the stairs and around the corner at the end, landing with a thud on my backside. At first I lay almost in a ball trying to escape the immediate pain I was experiencing and wondering if an ambulance had to be called. But in less than 10 mins. I decided I was going to force myself to somehow get up the stairs to our bedroom where my sequex mat is and get on it! So that was what I did and after one treatment I immediately felt the pain start to subside and and the trauma I had caused to my back start to heal. I credit this speedy change in my painful experience to the mat. I used it many more times and eventually with time the injury healed but much quicker than normal, especially for a 71 year old woman.

The final experience I want to share as an example of just how wonderful this mat works and its healing capabilities involved a bad cut. I had been hastily setting up an extra stand (about 3’ tall) with a heavy ceramic tile on top, for a friend to set her teacup on when I knocked over the stand and the hard tile on top crashed on my big foot. My big toe startedbleeding profusly and had to be bound up to get it to stop. Shortly afterwards I was able togo upstairs again to use the mat and I actually fell asleep on it. I used it again that night and the next morning. The cut was about an inch long and surprisingly quite deep – enough to have required a stitch or two in the past to close it.
