 In the first week in April 2017. I fell on black ice on my driveway straight onto my back. It was the last snow fall for Wasaga Beach. I dealt with the pain on my own. After several weeks finally decide to see a doctor, I was informed I had sciatic nerve damage and lucky my back was unaffected. However, I had pain in my upper left thigh. Physiotherapist exercise and several massage therapies did not help, and still waiting to see a doctor whose speciality is physiatrist.
I heard about Bowen technique/therapy from a young man in passing. I inquired on the internet and find Isabella Lehmann Certified Bowen practitioner in Collingwood. I know the Bowen technique/therapy is not a cure. After the first session I noticed the first evening had ringing in my ears, light headiness and within days the pain subsided. I had no pain. My leg was weak at the start. After the three session my leg slowly became stronger. The most awkward thing that has happened my handwriting has improved. It is now legible. Also, noticed I dealt with stress much better.
